10WeeksOfAWS is a free, community run learning challenge that helps people prepare for the AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification exam, known as SAA-C03. It is organized by CloudAdhar and TrainWithShubham and is built around a simple pattern: one topic per week for ten weeks, moving through the official exam domains in order. Each week has its own folder with a theme, background reading, and a set of hands on labs you complete yourself inside your own AWS account, ideally on the Free Tier. Every lab includes a cleanup step so you are not left with running resources that could rack up charges. Alongside the labs, each week also names one topic that carries forward, such as security or cost, so the final week becomes a review rather than a rush to learn something new. Each week also maps to the specific exam domain it covers and includes a few sample questions, plus a template for sharing what you learned publicly on a site like LinkedIn. To take part, you fork the repository, read a week's material, complete the labs in your own AWS account, add your work to that week's folder, and open a pull request back to the main repo. Posting about your progress publicly is treated as part of the challenge, meant to build consistency. The plan runs across ten weeks covering AWS basics such as identity and access management, virtual networking, EC2, load balancing, storage services like S3, databases, content delivery, messaging, serverless tools, and containers, ending with a full practice exam. There is also a paid live version of this same material taught by two instructors, but the GitHub repository itself is free to use. The project is licensed under MIT and includes a contributing guide and a code of conduct for anyone who wants to join the community around it.
