Requires an AI coding agent already installed, such as Claude Code or Cursor.
Timovi is a collection of Markdown and JSON files that, once installed into your AI coding agent, adds ten specialist personas to every session: a Product Manager, UX Designer, Software Architect, Tech Lead, Frontend Engineer, Backend Engineer, Database Administrator, QA Engineer, Head of Marketing, and DevOps engineer. There is no server and no separate program to run. The team lives entirely as configuration files that your agent reads, so the same AI model responds as one of these named roles depending on where it is in the workflow. Installation is one command: npx skills add theminimalcreator/timovi. The tool places skill files into the directory your agent already scans for instructions. It works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and several other agents. A first-run bootstrap asks a few questions about your project, then auto-generates a knowledge base containing your stack details, architecture notes, and conventions. After that, typing "timovi" in your agent activates the team. The main feature is a five-phase pipeline: Plan, Spec, Breakdown, Execute, and Review. When you want a new feature built, the Product Manager and UX Designer plan it, the Architect validates feasibility, the Tech Lead breaks work into tracked issues, the engineers write the code, and the QA engineer tests it. Each phase produces a concrete file or pull request before the next phase starts. The orchestrator asks you one question at a time and pauses for your approval at each handoff, so you stay in control without managing every detail yourself. The project targets solo founders and independent developers who find themselves doing all of these jobs while using an AI assistant. The README positions Timovi against heavier orchestration tools by arguing that its approach is lighter and more opinionated, which means less setup and clearer deliverables at each step. All project-specific data is saved in a .product-team/ folder in your repository and is never overwritten when you update the tool.
