RicoFast is an open-source website template for building a product marketing site. It is aimed at solo developers, small teams, and open-source projects who want a visually polished site without having to design everything from scratch. The template is built with Astro 6 and Tailwind CSS, which means it produces a fast, static website that can be hosted on any standard hosting platform like Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, or Netlify. The template ships with 11 pre-built pages covering the common needs of a software product site: a marketing home page with 12 sections, a features page, a pricing page with a comparison table, a blog, a changelog, an about page, a contact page, sign-in and sign-up pages in two layout styles, a design reference page, and a 404 error page. More than 15 reusable sections are included, such as hero banners, feature grids, FAQ blocks, step-by-step guides, and call-to-action sections. The blog and changelog sections support MDX, which lets you write content in a format similar to a plain text document with some formatting added. Dark mode is included and switches without a flash on page load. Page animations use scroll-reveal effects that respect the user's system setting for reduced motion. The template scores 95 or above in Lighthouse, a tool browsers use to measure page speed and accessibility. SEO basics such as Open Graph tags, a sitemap, and an RSS feed are set up by default. Customization is meant to happen in three main places. A site configuration file holds your product name, URL, description, and social links. A stylesheet file defines color tokens such as your brand color and accent color. Content files for blog posts and changelog entries live in a content folder and are picked up automatically when you add new files. Setup requires Node.js version 22 or higher and the pnpm package manager. After cloning the repository and installing dependencies, the development server runs locally on port 5200. A Chinese-language version of the README is also available in the repository. The template is MIT licensed for personal and commercial use.
