Growth Skills is a collection of ready made agent skills that teach AI coding assistants how to help with startup growth work, covering product-led growth strategy, paid marketing, search engine optimization, and analytics. It is built to work across several AI tools, including Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and GitHub Copilot, using a shared open standard for agent skills. Right now, the PLG-Architect suite is the only fully finished part, containing seven skills that cover founder context gathering, ideal customer research, competitor analysis, product-led growth strategy, viral loop design, content strategy, and growth metrics. An SEO suite with eleven skills is still in progress, and suites for paid marketing and analytics have not been started yet. Installation can happen in several ways depending on which AI tool you use. The recommended path is a small command line tool that detects which agents you have installed and adds the skills to a shared folder they can all use. There is also a native plugin option for Claude Code users, a manual method for teams that want to check the skills into their own project repository so everyone gets them automatically, and a Git submodule option for keeping the skills linked to updates from this repository. After installing or updating, the AI tool needs to be reloaded or restarted before it picks up the new skills, since installing only writes files to disk. The suite is designed to be used in a specific order: first gathering context about the founder's business, then researching the target customer and competitors, then building a strategy from that research, and finally moving into execution work like designing viral loops, planning content, and choosing growth metrics to track. The skills can also be used individually outside that sequence if preferred. The project is aimed at founders and growth focused teams who want structured, repeatable guidance rather than generic advice from an AI assistant.
