In plain English

Yichen-skills is a collection of automation tools, called skills, meant to be used with Claude Code and Codex by content creators who write and publish across platforms like X, WeChat, Xiaohongshu, and Douyin. Rather than being a single application, it is a bundle of separate, focused tools that each handle one repetitive task in a creator's workflow, from saving notes to editing video. Some skills focus on writing and publishing. One turns a Claude Code conversation into a structured note saved in Obsidian, sorting out the background, key points, and solution so nothing important gets lost. Another uploads long-form Markdown articles to X Articles as drafts, converting the formatting and images automatically, though it stops short of actually publishing so a person still reviews before anything goes live. Several skills deal with WeChat. One lets a Mac run two WeChat accounts side by side with a different colored icon so they are easy to tell apart. Another decrypts a user's own local WeChat database to pull out chats, Moments posts, and saved Favorites, then uses AI to generate digests and summaries. A related skill batch-exports WeChat Official Account article history, and another does the same for WeCom, the business version of WeChat. Other skills handle video and research work. One transcribes audio or video into text and subtitles and can produce a rough cut. Another breaks down a video transcript sentence by sentence to study its structure. There are also skills for running research through the ChatGPT website, consulting Grok for a second opinion, and exporting saved bookmarks and favorites from Xiaohongshu, Douyin, and X into local files. The project is free to use for personal, non-commercial purposes. Using it for client work, paid products, internal company deployment, or course bundling requires the author's written permission first, arranged by contacting them on WeChat. The full README is longer than what was shown.
