Maison Lumiere Global Skincare and Beauty E-Commerce Dashboard is a three page Power BI report built to track sales performance, market efficiency, and product profitability for a global beauty and skincare e-commerce brand. It is a data analysis and visualization project rather than an application someone would install and run, the deliverable is a Power BI file that opens in Microsoft's Power BI Desktop tool. The first page covers sales and profit performance, showing total sales, sales volume, total profit, and profit margin as headline numbers, alongside a chart comparing sales and profit by year with drill down to quarter and month, a heatmap of monthly profit margin across years to spot seasonal patterns, and breakdowns of sales and profit by customer segment, comparing corporate, consumer, and self employed buyers. The second page focuses on market performance, identifying which region drives the most sales, volume, and profit, currently Asia Pacific for sales and volume and Europe for profit. It includes a chart comparing sales and profit across markets with drill down to region and country, a year by month heatmap of sales growth rates, a ranked table of regional performance, and a bar chart comparing sales growth rate by market. The third page looks at individual product performance and profitability. It highlights which product drives the most sales, volume, and profit, and which product has the highest margin, along with a profit decomposition tree that breaks total profit down by category, product, market, region, country, and segment, a bar chart of net sales by product, and a table ranking products within each category by sales, profit, and margin, alongside overall figures for net sales, discount rate, and discount amount. The README also documents the underlying data model, including how the different data tables relate to each other, the schema of the dataset used, and instructions for opening and filtering the report in Power BI. This project is best understood as a business intelligence dashboard example, aimed at people learning or demonstrating data analysis and reporting skills rather than a piece of software with source code to run.
