This repository holds the source content for the Apache Grails website and documentation, which lives at grails.apache.org. Grails is a web application framework, and this repo is the central hub that brings together its official site, current docs, and older archived documentation in one place. Rather than containing the Grails framework itself, this repo is focused on publishing content. It aggregates material from multiple Grails repositories and publishes everything using Apache's infrastructure. A configuration file tells the system how to push the site live, and a small script adds Apache's web analytics tracking to the pages. The project is organized into a few key parts. There's a folder for current documentation (which is actually generated elsewhere and pulled in), and separate folders for legacy documentation from before Grails joined the Apache Software Foundation. The remaining directories are generated from another related repository called grails-static-website. The people who'd work with this repo are primarily contributors helping maintain the Grails web presence, fixing documentation, organizing content, or helping migrate older resources.
